RAM - Petrolatum Primer
DESCRIPTION
The RAM Petrolatum Primer consists of a compound being made of petrolatum, inert fillers and passivating agents.
The primer is the key component of the RAM Petrolatum System for the preparation of metal surfaces prior to wrapping.
RAM Petrolatum Primer will displace surface moisture, passivate, fill voids and ensures intimate contact between the RAM Petrolatum Tapes and substrate.
The RAM Petrolatum Primer compound will not dry out or harden and is unyielding to moisture, acids, alkalis and salt solutions.
Specific Gravity 1.1 approximately.
Temperature Range Application -5°C to 45°C. Service Maximum 75°C.
Coverage 3-5m2/kg.
Packaging 1 kg tin, 4 kg tin, 20 kg drums.

RAM Petrolatum Moulding Mastic
DESCRIPTION
The RAM Petrolatum Moulding Mastic consists of a compound being made of microcrystalline waxes, oils and inert fillers.
The RAM Petrolatum Moulding Mastic was specifically designed for easy moulding / filling for profiling around flanges, fittings, nuts, bolts and other irregular shapes to achieve a streamline contours for subsequent tape wrapping.
Being 100% manufactured from virgin materials (not mulched up tape) and utilising the advantages of microcrystalline waxes over paraffin waxes AIWC can deliver a product that can be used successfully in the any season of the year.
Specific Gravity 1.1 approximately.

RAM Below Ground Petrolatum Tape
DESCRIPTION
The RAM Below Ground Petrolatum Tape consists of a synthetic cloth being saturated with microcrystalline waxes, petrolatum, inert fillers and passivating inhibitors.
The RAM Below Ground Petrolatum Tape is a permanently flexible membrane for corrosion prevention and water proofing of metal structures below ground by acting as a lock-out coating that is unyielding to moisture, acids, alkalis and salt solutions.

RAM Hi-Temp Outerwrap Tape
DESCRIPTION
The RAM Hi-Temp Outerwrap is a flexible, UV stable and highly conformable PVC coated with an aggressive rubber adhesive.
The RAM Hi-Temp Outerwrap is smooth and consistent to unwind at a variety of temperatures.
The RAM HT Outerwrap is unyielding to moisture, acids, alkalis and salt solutions.
Service Temperature: 70°C max.
Application Temperature: 0°C to 50°C.
Elongation at break: 200 %.
Breakdown Voltage: 60 kV min. per 1mm thickness.
Thickness: 0.20 mm min.
Length: 30 m roll.

FLEXI- SEAL 1000
THE WATERPROOFING TAPE
Flexi – Seal 1000 is a self adhesive, self sealing layer of Rubberised Bituminous compound with a layer of polyethylene as a backing for mechanical protection.
Flexi – Seal 1000 is composed of a uniform layer of rubber modified bitumen bonded to a polyethylene film. The physical properties remain stable over time and under severe weather conditions.
Flexi – Seal 1000 has been specially designed for the waterproofing of culverts, bridges, viaducts, traffic decks and ramps and other precast concrete slabs.

Flexi- Seal Primer
Flexi - Seal Primer is based on bitumen modified with rubber and resins to produce a specifically formulated primer for the Flexi Seal range of tapes.
APPLICATIONS
· Promote adhesion of the Flexi Seal Tape to steel, concrete and plastic.
· Multiple coats will provide a “simple” low flexibility membrane.
ADVANTAGES
· Excellent adhesion to steel, plastic, concrete, timber and brick work.
· Can be applied by brush, roller or spray application.
· Cost effective
LIMITATIONS
· Substrate must be dry.
· Highly flammable in liquid state.
· Areas to be primed must be well ventilated.
RAM Aluminium Topcoat
The RAM Aluminium Topcoat is a solvent based bituminous aluminium paint designed to be a highly reflective topcoat.
With its superior aluminium flakes reflects the sun’s harmful rays thus reducing the temperature of the underlying membrane.
The RAM Aluminium Topcoat can be used on a variety of substrates including metal, timber, concrete and bitumen surfaces.
The RAM Aluminium Topcoat requires the surface to be dry and the relevant surface preparation for the particular substrate.
The RAM Aluminium Topcoat can be applied by Brush, Roller or Airless Spray.
Depending upon the surface the RAM Aluminium Topcoat should achieve between 8- 10 mē per litre.
